Compact kei-class mini truck/van designed for light commercial and urban use. It is powered by a small 660cc engine (petrol or diesel in older models), usually a 3-cylinder, with 40–64 horsepower. The Hijet is very fuel-efficient, easy to maneuver in tight streets, and cheap to maintain. It has a payload of about 300–350 kg, rear-wheel drive or optional 4WD, and is commonly used for small deliveries, farming, and market runs.
