Sales Associate

* Welcome and assist customers, identify their needs, and recommend suitable products. * Work towards assigned individual and store sales targets using effective upselling and cross-selling techniques. * Develop knowledge of the products, brands, collections, materials, sizing and care instructions. * Keep up to date with new arrivals and promotions, and represent the company and its brands professionally. * Maintain clean, organised and customer-ready sales floors, displays and fitting rooms. * Arrange, price and replenish merchandise in line with store and visual merchandising guidelines. * Process sales and approved payment types accurately using the store’s POS system, where assigned. * Follow procedures for receipts, exchanges, returns, cash handling and transaction security. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet store objectives and support busy trading periods. * Participate in product training, team meetings and performance reviews.

* HND or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. * One to two years’ experience in sales, preferably in fashion, clothing, footwear or apparel retail. * Experience in customer-facing roles with evidence of sales ability and customer service. * Previous POS experience is an advantage. * Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. * Strong sales orientation, including the ability to influence purchasing decisions and upsell/cross-sell. * Good awareness of clothing styles, sizes, colours, brands and current fashion trends. * Professional presentation, attention to detail, integrity and a customer-focused attitude. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven retail environment. * Basic numeracy and willingness to learn product, POS and stock procedures.
