Waiters and Waitresses

1. Welcome customers warmly and escort them to their seats. 2. Present menus and explain food and drink options. 3. Take customers’ food and beverage orders accurately. 4. Serve meals and drinks in a professional and timely manner. 5. Check on customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction. 6. Respond politely to customer questions, requests, and complaints. 7. Clear tables after customers finish dining. 8. Set up and prepare tables before service begins. 9. Process customer bills and handle payments correctly. 10. Keep the dining area clean, neat, and organized. 11. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. 12. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly. 13. Refill drinks and provide additional items when requested.

* Minimum qualification: JHS, SHS, or equivalent (higher qualifications are an advantage). * Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or café is preferred but not always required. * Must be at least 18 years old. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to read and write basic English. * Physically fit and able to stand for long hours. * Neat, clean, and professional appearance. * Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and shifts. * Excellent customer service skills. * Strong communication and listening skills. * Teamwork and collaboration. * Time management and organization. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. * Patience and a positive attitude. * Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
