Full Time Trending News Researcher and Script Writer (Remote)

WHAT YOU WILL DO Research trending news across all topics. Follow selected creators and report on their stories. Produce well researched original stories. Write complete scripts that cover every relevant detail of each trending issue. There is no length limit. The story decides the length. Deliver each script as soon as it is completed for my review, with all supporting evidence included. Write as many scripts as your full working day allows.

REQUIREMENTS Experience in media work or journalism, or proven ability to perform these duties. Heavily fluent in English, written and spoken. Comfortable working with WhatsApp, Google Drive, and other online tools. Available Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm GMT.

Diploma or HND in journalism, media, or communications. At least 1 year of experience in media work, journalism, or content writing. Heavily fluent in English, written and spoken. Skilled in fact checking and verifying sources. Able to write for video or broadcast, meaning scripts written to be spoken aloud. Strong awareness of social media and trending content. Able to research and write quickly when news breaks. WORK SETUP REQUIRED Your own laptop or computer. A stable internet connection for the full working day. A quiet workspace. Comfortable working with WhatsApp, Google Drive, and other online tools.
