Apply Valve Oil regularly: Unscrew the top valve caps, pull each piston straight out halfway, and apply 2–3 drops of valve oil directly to the wide surface area. Avoid using too much oil.Grease the Tuning Slides: Pull the main tuning slides out completely, wipe away old residue with a paper towel, apply a thin layer of slide grease, and slide them back in.Clean the Mouthpiece: Wash the mouthpiece weekly using lukewarm water, mild liquid dish soap, and a specialized mouthpiece brush. Never use hot water as it can damage specific finishes.Flush the Interior: Every few months, submerge the disassembled body (minus the valves) in a tub of lukewarm soapy water, clean the tubing with a flexible cleaning snake, rinse with clean water, and dry thoroughly.
