For anyone who is looking to start playing drums or has recently started and is looking for a first drum kit we recommend the Mapex Tornado. Built by Mapex in their factory which has over 30 years experience. The Tornado is built using poplar shells which have been an industry standard for many entry level kits. They deliver a great sound and excellent durability. All the metal work is well engineered to a high standard and everything you need to get playing is included - even drum sticks, a drum stool and a very handy manual!
