Alesis SamplePad Pro is a percussion and sample-triggering instrument featuring eight velocity-sensitive pads with blue LED illumination. It comes with over 200 built-in drum, cymbal, and percussion sounds and ten preset drum kits. The device also has an SD card slot, allowing users to load and store their own custom sounds and kits. It has trigger inputs for two additional drum pads, as well as dedicated inputs for a kick drum and hi-hat pedal. This allows it to be used as an extension of an existing drum kit or as a full electronic drum kit for on-the-go performers.
