Glucometer strips, also called blood glucose test strips, are small disposable strips used with a glucometer (blood glucose meter) to measure the amount of glucose (sugar) in the blood.
How They Work:
1. A small drop of blood (usually from a fingertip) is placed on the strip.
2. The strip contains special chemicals and electrodes that react with the glucose in the blood.
3. The glucometer reads this reaction and displays the blood sugar level on its screen.
