Light Housekeeping
Keep the client’s living space clean and tidy by performing light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and sweeping.
Monitoring Health Conditions
Observe and report changes in the client’s health or behavior to family members or healthcare providers.
Requirements & Skills
A caregiver must be compassionate, trustworthy, and patient in supporting individuals who are elderly, sick, or disabled. Basic education, physical fitness, and prior experience in caregiving or healthcare are often required. Good communication, time management, and the ability to follow instructions are essential.
Key skills include empathy, observation, problem-solving, and the ability to provide personal care, companionship, and safety. A caregiver should be flexible, respectful, and committed to maintaining the dignity and well-being of every client.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Basic education (JHS/SHS) or equivalent.
Additional training or certification in caregiving, health care, or first aid is an advantage.
Experience
Previous experience in caregiving, nursing assistant work, or home care is preferred.
Medical Fitness
Must be physically and mentally fit to handle caregiving duties.
Background Check
Must provide a police clearance or background check to ensure trustworthiness.
Good Communication
Must be able to speak clearly and understand client instructions in English or the local language.
