The SolidSteel S3-3 hi-fi rack uses aluminium poles, filled with a dampening material to help cancel out vibrations from both your hi-fi components and other potentially sonic-degrading sources in the room, such as a fish tank pump or light dimmer. With vibrations cancelled, you’ll hear less distortion and a smoother, purer sound from your hi-fi.
With enhanced MDF shelves, the S3 series increases the weight limit from 50kg (offered by the S2 series) to 60kg. While you might not need this extra weight capacity, the extra shelf strength further reduces resonance – whatever the weight. Reducing resonance optimises your hi-fi components for the lowest distortion and clearest sound.
