Responsibilities
Transport employees, clients, goods, or company material safely to their destinations. Follow all Road traffic laws and regulation. Conduct regular checks on the vehicle before and after use. Keep the vehicle clean, save and in good working condition . Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance need promptly.
Maintaining accurate records of trips, Fuel, mileage, and vehicle maintenance. Plan routines and ensure timely arrival at destinations. Load and unload goods or luggages safely when required. Ensure passengers follow safety procedures, including the use of seat belts.
Requirements & Skills
Requirements valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle. Basic education, preferably JHS or SHS. Previous driving experience is an advantage. Good knowledge of road traffic rules and regulation. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required. Skills safe and responsible driving. Good knowledge of road and routes. Good communication skills. Time management and punctuality. Good concentration and alertness.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Minimum education: Basic education, JHS, SHS, or equivalent.
Valid driving licence: Must have the appropriate valid driver's licence for the type of vehicle.
Driving experience: Usually 1–3 years of driving experience is preferred.
Knowledge of traffic laws: Must understand and follow road safety rules and regulations.
Good eyesight and health: Must be physically fit to drive safely.
Ability to read and understand road signs.
Good character: Honest, responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance: Ability to check oil, water, tyres, and identify minor vehicle problems.
