The ASUS VG278QR is a 27-inch Full HD (1080p) budget gaming monitor built primarily for competitive, fast-paced gaming. It prioritizes ultra-fast motion performance and low input lag over high resolution or vibrant color accuracy. [1, 2]
Core Display & Performance Specs
Panel Type: Twisted Nematic (TN) panel. While TN technology limits viewing angles (170° horizontal / 160° vertical) and color vibrancy compared to IPS displays, it provides rapid pixel response times.
Refresh Rate: 165Hz native refresh rate, offering ultra-smooth visuals. It backwards-supports 144Hz setups.
Response Time: Ultra-fast 0.5ms (Gray-to-Gray) minimum response time, engineered to minimize ghosting and trailing artifacts.
