Responsibilities
- Serve as our legally registered Company Secretary in Ghana. - Assist the Board in complying with the organization’s constitution and local statutory requirements. - Coordinate the filing of statutory forms, annual returns, and necessary updates with the Registrar. - Maintain the NGO's official registers, records, and minutes of board meetings. - Act as a reliable point of contact for local regulatory communications.

Have previously served as a Company Secretary trainee or articled under a qualified Company Secretary for at least three years.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Residency: Must be ordinarily resident in Ghana. - Identification: Must possess a valid National ID (Ghana Card) if a Ghanaian citizen, or a valid Passport and residence permit if a foreign resident.  - Statutory Qualifications: In strict compliance with Section 211 of Act 992, candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria: Be a barrister or solicitor in good standing in the Republic of Ghana. Be a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. Be a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Hold a professional or tertiary-level degree in a discipline featuring company law practice and administration. Have previously served as a Company Secretary trainee or articled under a qualified Company Secretary for at least three years. - Integrity: Absolute professional integrity, precise record-keeping skills, and a strong commitment to compliance.

This position is designed to satisfy the strict statutory requirements under Ghana’s Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992), which mandates that every company and NGO appoint a Company Secretary to maintain statutory books and ensure regulatory compliance. This is a non-operational, governance-focused role. Your primary responsibility is to keep the NGO in good standing with the Office of the Registrar of Companies and other local regulatory bodies. To ensure absolute transparency and protect both our organizational funds and your peace of mind, this role is strictly administrative.
