My teaching philosophy is student-centered focusing on the step-by-step solution of examples and problems. I have realized this is the most effective way of teaching and learning these subjects; this is because usually students think they understand a topic but then when given problems to solve, they are unable to do so. I aim not only to impart knowledge but to challenge my students to think critically as this is an essential skill that will be needed in order for the correct application of the knowledge they acquire. I also emphasize the solution of past questions under examination conditions in order for students to be familiar with what they will be meeting during their final exams.
