This is a YST type super woofer (sub woofer) designed by Tall Boy.
Yamaha's proprietary YST method realizes compact size and deep bass playback.
In the YST system, distortion is greatly reduced by using an air woofer, which uses air as a diaphragm, compared with conventional units, and low-frequency playback with quick response, high speed, and sharpness is achieved.
The unit is equipped with two 20 cm cone type woofers of anti-magnetic design, and by greatly improving the maximum sound pressure, the low sound reproduction capability is enhanced.
