Yamaha's CDX-1100 is considered one of the finest CD players ever made. Weighing in at 31 lbs., the unit does not replace real circuitry with IC chips. It features two (one for each channel) massive power supplies and the company's Hi-Bit technology that provides 18-bit performance from its twin 16-bit DACs. The CDX-1100 uses digital technology to enhance its musicality. The single-disc machine features remote control, output level control, front panel headphone jack, and gold-plated output jacks for conventional analog output and coaxial digital connection. The versatile model features several different types of programming to sequence tracks as well as auto and manual search capability. Specs include: Frequency Resp. DC to 20 kHz +/- 0.3 dB, S/N 115 dB, HD+Noise 0.002%, Channel Sep. > 100 dB (1 kHz to 20 kHz).
