The power stage uses a pair of 2SK405/2SJ115 MOS FETs capable of high-speed amplification, and the advanced α-X balanced circuit demonstrates the capabilities of the elements to obtain a high degree of stability and delicate expressiveness. The advanced α-X balanced circuit is structured with dedicated amplifiers on the + and - sides of the output, and the circuit itself cancels external noise and common-mode distortion by a push-pull system that drives the speaker with a total of four amplifiers from both directions. In addition, the new diamond differential circuit, which can supply a large instantaneous current, achieves low impedance, clean and excellent operating characteristics. To use this amplifier safely overseas, you will need a step-down transformer that converts the local voltage (e.g., 120V or 230V) to 100V.
