The Arcam CDS50 was a versatile "all-in-one" digital source component from Arcam's HDA series that combined physical disc playback with modern wireless streaming.
• Disc Formats: It is a rare dual-format player that plays both standard CDs and high-resolution SACDs (Super Audio CDs), as well as CD-R/RW discs.
• Built-in Streaming: It functions as a network streamer via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Using Arcam's MusicLife app, you can stream directly from platforms like Tidal, Qobuz, and Deezer.
• Internal DAC: It features a premium 32-bit ESS Sabre DAC (ES9038). Because the DAC is so high-quality, Arcam included digital coaxial and optical inputs on the back so you can route other digital sources through it.Outputs: Includes both standard RCA outputs and premium balanced XLR outputs for higher-end amplifier connections
