MAIN FUNCTIONS :
1. Spray fuel into the engine at the correct time.
2. Control the amount of fuel entering the combustion chamber.
3. Atomize the fuel into a fine mist for better combustion.
4. Improve fuel efficiency by ensuring the correct air-fuel mixture.
5. Reduce emissions by helping the engine burn fuel more completely.
MUST BE REPLACED WHEN...
1 Clogged and unable to spray fuel properly.
2 Leaking, causing excessive fuel consumption and rough running.
2 Electrically faulty, preventing them from opening or closing correctly.
4 Damaged internally, resulting in poor fuel atomization
Signs of a Bad Injector
1 Rough idle
2 Engine misfires
3 Loss of power
4 Hard starting
5 Increased fuel consumption
6 Black smoke from the exhaust (especially in diesel engines)
7 Check engine light
