A car radiator tank (inlet and outlet tanks) collects, guides, and distributes engine coolant as it moves • Inlet Tank (Hot Side): Receives hot coolant straight from the engine via the upper radiator hose after it has absorbed combustion heat.
• Distribution to Core: Spreads and channels the hot liquid evenly across the narrow tubes of the radiator core so it can release heat into the metal fins.
• Outlet Tank (Cooled Side): Collects the chilled coolant after it passes through the core and sends it back through the lower radiator hose toward the engine.
• Fluid Reservoir / Sealing: Acts as an end-chamber attached to the core to hold and manage the volume of liquid moving through the heat exchanger.
• Mounting & Connection Points: Houses connection ports for radiator hoses, and often holds the pressure cap or transmission cooler i
