What it is: Small electrical switch, usually on the driver’s door panel + one for each passenger door. Driver side has a master switch that controls all windows.
• How it works: Press up/down → switch sends power to the window motor → motor spins a regulator → glass moves. “Auto” switches hold the circuit briefly so window goes all the way with one tap.
• Common types:
1. Rocker switch - press top for up, bottom for down
2. Toggle switch - pull up for up, push down for down
