For the 2006-2018 Mercedes Sprinter (NCV3), tail lights are primarily halogen units that combine stop, tail, turn signal, and reverse functions in a 7-chamber design. A major 2014 facelift changed the bulb layout and wiring, and while LED options exist for later models, they have different mounting points and are not interchangeable with earlier units without modification.
