Car door lock is what keeps your doors shut and secure, and lets you get in/out
The 4 main parts inside a car door lock system
1. Lock cylinder - Where you put the key. Turns and moves rods.
2. Actuator - Small electric motor. This is what clicks when you use remote/central lock.
3. Locking rods + latch - Connect the handle, cylinder, and actuator to actually hold the door shut.
4. Switch - Master switch on driver door, or buttons on each door, plus key fob signal.
