Slightly used from home with neat components. Why you must replace it;
The cylinder head sits on top of the engine block and performs several key functions at once.
It seals the top of each cylinder to create a closed combustion chamber, which lets the engine build compression for power.
It houses the intake and exhaust valves, along with the ports that move air/fuel in and exhaust gases out. In most engines it also holds the spark plugs or fuel injectors, and often the camshaft.
It helps cool the engine too, because coolant and oil passages run through it to carry heat away from the combustion chambers and valves.
So basically: it seals the cylinders, controls the engine’s breathing, and manages heat.
