Upper Assemblies : These are hydraulic front/side engine motor mounts. The top bracket structure bolts directly to the vehicle chassis frame, while the bottom casting connects to the engine block. The middle section contains a dense rubber core (and internal hydraulic fluid) designed to absorb high-frequency engine vibrations.Lower Assemblies (Smaller Oval Brackets): These are lower engine torque strut mounts (frequently called "dog bone" mounts or torque suppressors). They restrict the rock-back movement of the engine and transmission during acceleration and braking.
