It can be recommended for use in General Motors, Ford, Daimler Chrysler and other domestic and imported passenger car, van, and light truck automatic transmissions, power steering units and hydraulic systems. CAM2 Automatic Transmission Fluid D/M is suitable for use in all vehides that recommend DEXRON (H), DEXRON.I, DEXRON-IE, Type A Suffix A and MERCON performance levels. It also meets the performance requirements of Allison Transmissions Division C-4 and major hydraulic manufacturer's requirements for anti-wear hydraulic fluids.
