For 2010–2015 Toyota RAV4 models, there is no electronic fuel cap switch or button on the dashboard. Instead, the fuel door is operated by a mechanical fuel door release lever located on the floor to the left of the driver’s seat. Finding and Operating the LeverLocation: Look at the plastic floor trim right next to the driver's door sill, slightly forward of the seat cushion adjustment controls.Identification: The black lever is stamped with a white or embossed fuel pump icon.Operation: Place your finger underneath the tab and pull straight upward to mechanically release the fuel exterior door
