Street Hawker (Plantain)

Carry plantains in a tray/basin on the head and move around designated areas to sell * Actively call out and attract customers while walking * Sell plantains to customers in a polite and friendly manner * Handle cash payments accurately and give correct change * Keep proper record of daily sales (if required) * Ensure plantains are well arranged and presentable at all times * Maintain cleanliness of the tray/basin and personal hygiene * Report any issues or shortages to the employer promptly * Resume and close work on time according to agreed schedule (Tuesday to Saturday, 9am–6pm) * Safely manage unsold plantains at the end of the day

Physically fit and able to walk long distances while carrying goods on the head * Honest, trustworthy, and responsible with money handling * Good communication skills and ability to attract customers * Friendly and respectful attitude towards customers * Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and giving correct change * Ability to work independently without close supervision * Punctual and reliable (able to work Tuesday to Saturday, 9am–6pm) * Neat and hygienic appearance * Prior experience in street selling or hawking is an advantage (not compulsory) * Must be familiar with the local area/streets for easy movement

No formal education required (basic education is an advantage) * Ability to speak and understand basic English or local language (e.g., Twi, Ga, Ewe) * Must be physically strong and healthy * Prior experience in selling or hawking is an added advantage but not compulsory * Must be trustworthy and of good character
