Take accurate measurements and ensure good fit Cut, sew, and finish garments neatly (gowns, corsets, kaba & slit, etc.) Understand designs and suggest suitable styles/fabrics Handle fittings and make necessary adjustments Meet deadlines and manage orders properly Maintain good communication with clients Do alterations and minor repairs when needed

Requirements Proven experience in women’s wear (gowns, corsets, kaba & slit, ready-to-wear) Ability to take accurate measurements Experience with different fabrics (lace, Ankara, chiffon, kente,silk etc.) Portfolio or samples of past work Ability to meet deadlines Skills Strong sewing and finishing skills Pattern drafting and fabric cutting Corset-making (structured garments) Attention to detail and neatness Creativity and style sense Good communication with clients
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Basic training in fashion design or tailoring (formal school or apprenticeship) At least 2–5 years practical experience in women’s wear Ability to sew independently from start to finish Basic knowledge of measurements, cutting, and garment construction Portfolio or samples of previous work
