The Alesis V49 is a 49-key USB-MIDI keyboard controller designed mainly for music production, playing virtual instruments, and controlling DAWs such as Ableton Live. It doesn’t produce sounds by itself like a standalone digital piano; it sends MIDI information to a computer or other compatible MIDI equipment.
